Ideal Client Clarity Can Make Or Break Your Business: Truth or Myth

Published by Huffington Post on Tue, 02 Aug 2016

If you have (any) kind of social media presence, are in FB groups or have learned about business at all during your entrepreneurial journey, then I'm sure you've heard the phrase "ideal client".Different from your target audience or niche, your ideal client is that one special person that exemplifies the BEST and most desired customer you'd like to work with.So does an ideal client really exist'And do you really need to be clear on who your ideal client is'Yes and YES!Recently I've heard people online saying that identifying your ideal client is a "waste of time"... Or that they prefer to target everyone vs narrowing down their efforts. My response'"Well I hope you like being broke because you'll be getting nowhere fast with that approach!"They never like that answer, but here's the thing.YOU NEED TO HAVE CLARITY ON WHO YOUR IDEAL CLIENT IS!The end. That's it. It's the truth. When you're marketing, no matter how you go about it, you need to know exactly WHO you're talking to. And yes, having a general age range in mind is helpful. As is knowing their general interests and such. But that's NOT ENOUGH.The online world is saturated with tons of people who offer the same thing you offer. So do you know what's going to set YOU apart'Making people feel like you're speaking directly to them.Like you're sitting next to them, whispering exactly what they need to hear, in their ear.Making them feel like you've actually taken the time to get to know them (because you HAVE).And that's what is going to make what YOU have to say, stand out from all the other chatter online. So when people say that having 100% clarity on their ideal client is a waste of time, they're wrong. You NEED that clarity because everything that you create going forward is based around this all important person.YOUR IDEAL CLIENT!And until you gain that much needed clarity, you'll be throwing time and money down the drain all while reaching no one...So yes, ideal client clarity is pretty darn important, wouldn't you agree'How well do you know your ideal client' Do you feel like you're actually reaching them online' Comment below and let me know!Until next time -- Stay Savvy!P.S.
