Ryan Lochte Apologizes For Behavior In Rio

U.S. swimmer Ryan Lochteapologized Friday for his actions on the night he claimed he was robbed at gunpoint, along with three other swimmers, in Rio de Janeiro.I want to apologize for my behavior last weekend ' for not being more careful and candid in how I described the events of that early morning and for my role in taking the focus away from the many athletes fulfilling their dreams of participating in the Olympics, Lochte said in a statement posted to his Twitter account.Lochte told NBCs Billy Bush that he and teammates Gunnar Bentz, Jack Conger and Jimmy Feigen were robbed at gunpoint by men dressed as police officers on Sunday.
