Praise 'The Jesus': A 'Big Lebowski' Spinoff Is Reportedly In The Works

A Big Lebowski spinoff might be on its way.John Turturro, who played Jesus Quintana ' aka the Jesus ' in the Coen brothers 1998 film, is reportedly writing and starring in a Lebwoski spin-off centered around his character, according to film news site Birth.Movies.Death. Sources tell the website that Bobby Cannavale, Audrey Tautou and Susan Sarandon are attached to Turturros new project, reportedly called Going Places.The spin-off is based on the 1974 French film Les Valseuses. It will reportedly revolve around the criminal activity and love lives of two thieves (Cannavale and Turturro).Tautou will play the love interest, while Sarandon is set to play a criminal.Variety reports that the project is currently filming in New York.
