Charisma and cockiness are set to collide as Shinsuke Nakamura kicks off hisWWE SmackDown tenure with a feud against Dolph Ziggler. The rivalry promises to a showcase for Nakamura. Ziggler's mic skills and dramatic body language will be keys to introducing The King of Strong Style in emphatic fashion. As theSuperstar Shake-up on the April 11 SmackDown, Nakamura crossed paths with Ziggler. The heel tried to ambush the newcomer from NXT, but Nakamura's reflexes were too quick. A staredown followed. So, it appears Nakamura's first opposition on SmackDown is decided. Let the battles begin. While The King of Strong Style vs. The Showoff doesn't have the same appeal as other potential feuds, there is ample reason to believe the two gladiators will create art between the ropes.Pro: Verbal DynamicNakamura has charisma by the boatload, but his limited English-language skills mean that his promos have to be short and to the point. His rival then has to pick up the slack, to do most of the talking during their feud. Ziggler can thrive doing just that. The Showoff isn't among the elite talkers on the roster but is strong on the mic. He exudes passion, can fire off good one-liners and tells a good story overall. We saw a flash of what his shots at Nakamura will look like when Ziggler appeared on Tuesday's Talking Smack:Ziggler can make fun of Nakamura's eccentric ways. He can mix in a touch of fear into his bravado. He can do all the insulting and raving while The King of Strong Style speaks through kicks.A number of SmackDown stars couldn't do all that as well as Ziggler will.Con: Further Sliding for The ShowoffNakamura's ascent will likely equal another fall for Ziggler. The Showoff is bound to fall victim to the law of the jungle. The former NXT champ is on the rise, a fresh, hot commodity. WWE will want to showcase him by giving him win after win. That's bad news for Ziggler who has found himselfsliding down the midcard ranks after being a WWE Championship contender last fall.Ziggler is already sitting on a .250 winning percentage for the year, per CageMatch.net.As Nakamura's chosen launching pad, he's now poised to worsen that mark. While Nakamura will push past him to become one of SmackDown's top acts, Ziggler is set to fall further away from contender status.Pro: A Skilled Stepping StoneZiggler's curse is that he is almost too talented at elevating others. The Showoff remains one of the best sellers in the business. He makes every punch look like a haymaker. He makes signature moves lookdevastating. And as the folks at The New Age Insiders podcast noted, Ziggler is going to make Nakamura look great overall:Nakamura's hard-hitting style is a perfect match for Ziggler's dramatic responses. That's going to lead to some excellent action in the weeks ahead.Ziggler also pours his heart into every match, be it a TV clash or something on a PPV of little importance. There seems to be no small stage in his mind. His show-stealing approach will up the likelihood one of Nakamura's early SmackDown bouts is a special one.Con: Different TiersFrom the moment he arrived, it's been clear that Nakamura is a major star. After being the face of the NXT brand, he's ready to lead SmackDown. Main events and world title await The King of Strong Style. The same can't be said for Ziggler.Ziggler is currently a low priority for the brand.WWE threw him into the midcard purgatory that is the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 33. His last feud against Apollo Crews received little attention. It's no wonder analysts likeChair Shot Realityhost Josh Isenberg have wondered aloud whether Ziggler is on Nakamura's level:A rivalry with Ziggler doesn't have the same appeal as one against AJ Styles or The Miz. This won't be a dream match. It won't be main event material. But this is only Nakamura's opening act on SmackDown. The title bouts and clashes with stars on Styles' level will come in due time. Only if Nakumura is taking on a Ziggler-like foe at next year's WrestleMania should fans be concerned.
