Imo CP Declares War Against Cultism

The Imo state Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike has stressed that his prime target in the state is to fight cultism to its lowest ebb.CP. Ezike, stated that cultism is the bane of all heinous crimes in the society and highlighted that when eliminated, the government of the day would thrive with the people happy and save.He made this known on Friday during courtesy visit to the palace of the Chairman of Imo state Council Traditional Rulers, HRM Eze Samuel Ohiri, the CP. called on the traditional institution to assist the police with useful information.According to him, security is everybodys business; he added that it encompasses the total well-being of all and sundry.His words, Security covers the total well-being of individuals. There is food security, social security, economic security, life security and property security among others.Ezike however, noted that the police do not have enough man power but that they (police) could be very effective if they were given adequate assistance and information by members of the public.He also stated that the state command would use both stick and carrot to wipe out the high spate of crime wave in the state.
