We are hiring a reporterwith a focus on design for INSIDER, a new publication that delivers stories to readers across digital platforms.The role includes finding and pitching ideas for INSIDER's design videos. Recent examples include videos abouta man who is the master of making puzzlestoa sliding glass door that can turn corners and open your home to the outdoors.Reporters on our video teamwork closely with video editors, but they do not need to have video-editing experience. We're looking for ambitious journalistswho can find and chase great stories, and relay them to our audience in a compelling way. We seek out self-starters and people who are enthusiastic about collaborating with video producers, social media editors, and other team members.Candidates should have at 1-3 years experience in a digital newsroom, preferably in a video production role.This position is at our Flatiron headquarters in New York City.At INSIDER, our motto is "Life is an adventure."
