Another year, another championship celebration for the University of Alabama.Nearly two weeks after the Crimson Tide defeated Georgia in the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship, they will be honored on Saturday with a victory party at the school's campus in Tuscaloosa. With a 26-23 overtime win over the Bulldogs on Jan. 8, Alabama won its fifth national championship in the past nine seasons and 17th in school history.Alabama Celebration Viewing InformationDate: Saturday, Jan. 20Start Time: 3 p.m. ETWatch: SEC Network PlusLive Stream: Watch ESPNAccording to details released by the school on Wednesday (via Michael Casagrande of AL.com), there will be a brief parade for the Crimson Tide atDenny Chimes, a tower on the south side of the campus, that kicks off the festivities. The parade will lead the team into Bryant-Denney Stadium where head coach Nick Saban, the coaching staff and players will share in the championship with fans and alumni in the stands.Other guests in attendance will include College Football Playoffexecutive director Bill Hancock, SEC commissioner Greg Sankey, AFCA executive director Gary Darnell and Alabama athletic director Greg Byrne.Casagrande also noted fans will have access to 10,000 free posters and another 10,000 free promotional items handed out in and around the stadium. As part of the celebration, the Crimson Tide will be awarded the College Football Playoff National Championship Trophy, AFCA Coaches Trophy and Sugar Bowl Trophy.Temperatures are going to be favorable for everyone at Alabama's campus on Saturday. The forecast on Weather.com calls for a high of 58 degrees with just a 10 percent chance of precipitation during the day.Fans outside of Alabama who don't want to see the Crimson Tide celebrating again next year might be in for a difficult 2018.Stars like wide receiver Calvin Ridley, defensive backsRonnie HarrisonandMinkah Fitzpatrick, running back Bo Scarbroughand defensive tackleDa'Ron Payne have declared for the NFL draft, leaving Alabama with significant holes to fill. But even looking at those departures, the Crimson Tide's top three offensive players in the national title game were all freshmen (quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, running back Najee Harris, wide receiver DeVonta Smith).Per 247Sports, Alabama had the No. 1 recruiting class in the country last year and already has the fifth-ranked class in 2018 with just over two weeks until national signing day.Saban always reloads with talent and is able to think about the next step needed for his team to compete for national titles every year.Even though Saturday will provide Alabama fans and players one more opportunity to look back on its latest championship, Saban has already thought of what needs to be done so the school has another title celebration next January.
