Between N1m and the life of little Maryam ...says she wants to be a doctor when she grows up

Maryam Mahmud is a 9-year-old pupil of Ma'asuba Primary School Bida in Niger State. A life-threatening disease has however put her out of school for the past three years. For these three years, Maryam has been moving from one hospital to the other in search of medication. From the National Eye Centre, Kaduna to Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Shika, Zaria, doctors continue to search for a solution to little Maryam's problem.
