Board asks UBTH workers to withdraw suits

TO resolve the crisis between management and employees, the board of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) has directed the workers' unions to withdraw all suits instituted against the hospital's management.A statement yesterday by the hospital's Director of Administration, Eddy Koyenikan said the objective of the committee was to look into cases of intra or inter unions conflicts or lingering complaints with management and make recommendations on how to resolve them.'The board directs that all cases of intra/inter unions or associations conflict or lingering complaints or conflicts with management should be channeled to the committee through the management for its consideration,' the statement added.
