Taraba State to host Media Games

This years National Media Games will hold in Jalingo, Taraba State.While giving his approval for the hosting, Taraba State Governor Danbaba Suntai, said the games would afford participants the opportunity to enjoy the states hospitality.He said the media was a partner in developing the state and the entire nation adding that participants could explore the tourism potential of the state during the games.Suntai noted that with the peace and security the state enjoyed, the choice of Taraba was appropriate adding that young people should commit their energies to beneficial activities. The games, which hold in November, will have over 300 participants coming to Taraba.Already, the Jolly Nyame Stadium, venue of the media games, is getting beefed up for the event.The President Nigeria Union of Journalists, Mohammed Garba, recently paid the state a visit where he requested the governor to host this years event.
