SACKED ZAMBIA COACH GETS BIG PAY-OFF

FIRED Zambia coach, Dario Bonetti, has been paid his outstanding salaries for three months amounting to $ 180,000.Bonetti said that the Zambian Sports Ministry had settled his arrears last week and that he has since left for his homeland Italy."I received my last three months' salary from government like in the past," Bonetti said.However, Bonetti relieved that he is now pursuing Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) through his lawyers over their failure to pay for his and assistant trainer's air tickets."They haven't paid for my air tickets like in contract about my repatriation. The amount they must pay is around only $30,000 for the tickets," the Italian said.FAZ have said their relationship with Bonetti is now a closed chapter and have no contractual obligations with the Italian.
