Spartak Moscow striker Emmanuel Emenike has ruled out sabotage from the Super Eagles elimination from next years Africa Cup of Nations.Nigeria drew the decisive last qualifier against Guinea in Abuja to suffer elimination from the competition for the first time in 25 years. It led to the sack of erstwhile coach Samson Siasia with some pointing accusing fingers at the players who wasted several begging chances. How can we sabotage Siasia at the detriment of our careers' A lot of us want to play in the Nations Cup but I would say ill-luck contributed to our elimination. Football is not an easy game and sometimes the results could be baffling, Emenike said. What we need now is to correct our mistakes and get the team going again. We owe the country a duty to play good football and get the desired results but we need the support of every Nigerian to get back to reckoning.Personally, I was not happy with the situation of things. We are all affected with the elimination because we all want to play in Africas biggest football tournament. We tried our best but sometimes luck matters in this game.Of course Nigerians are not happy because of their expectations but we can always get better. We are all committed to serving our fatherland. However, Emenike is hoping to give his best under new Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi. It is a great honour working with Keshi and his assistant Daniel Amokachi. Amokachi was my childhood hero and it will be a dream come true for me playing under a coach I once admired as a player.People say we have the same physique, stamina and speed and I cant wait to prove that under him and the Big Boss.Emenike was named the Player of The Month in October in the Russian league after his hat trick helped Spartak overcome rivals Lokomotive 3-0 in a Moscow derby. He has scored six goals in eight games after his mid-season 10 million Euros transfer from Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
