Lagos HoS for ex-officials AGM

Former heads of service and permanent secretaries have scheduled their Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Thursday.The former top civil servants under the umbrella of the Association of Lagos State Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries (ALARHOSPS) will also inaugurate its officers at the seventh AGM.In a statement its spokesman, Folarin Adeyemi, the executive members will run by ALARHOSPS for the next three years.Only few members of the association will attend the AGM billed for the Adeyemi Bero Secretariat Auditorium, Alausa, Ikeja.According to Adeyemi, the meeting will hold virtually in strict compliance with COVID-19 protocols.He listed the inauguration of committee members and presentation of awards to its past officers for the two plenary sessions.Adeyemi said the Lagos State Head of Service (HoS), Hakeem Muri Okunola, will deliver the key note address as the Special Guest of Honour.ALARHOSPS was established in 2013 with Sustaining the tradition of excellence service as its motto.It has amongst others, a mandate to mobilise and leverage the rich public service experience of retired but not tired HoS and permanent secretaries to support the state government.
