But OAPs always say they cant play those kinds of songs they could get fined, he revealed.According to him, its no longer just about being blacklisted from airwaves the pushback has now moved online.Every now and then, you drop a record and 100+ tweets come at you like: Why are you mocking the country' Its not that bad. You just know its artificial. That kind of organized pushback is digital propaganda, he said.Illbliss believes the government has evolved beyond traditional media, now investing in platforms and narratives meant to reshape public opinion even when the reality on the streets tells a different story.Propagandists can now have podcasts just to say the government is doing great. And youll see young people with their faces showing saying, This government has created jobs. You can tell, he said, in disbelief. He called out the weaponization of social media and how digital spaces once used for activism are now being infiltrated to distract and dilute truth. We thought we had social media. But now you start to wonder has the government started funding distraction' Have they gotten more advanced than we thought' Look around us, he added. The post <a href="http://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2025/6/were-in-a-dangerous-part-of-history-rapper-illbliss-cries-out-over-government-censorship-and-propaganda.html">"Were in a dangerous part of history" Rapper Illbliss cries out over government censorship and propaganda</a> appeared first on <a href="https://www.lindaikejisblog.com">Linda Ikeji Blog</a>.
