Boko Haram: Senator Ndume arraigned, remanded in SSS custody

Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, representing Borno South District, was arraigned and later remanded in the custody of the State Security Services (SSS) yesterday by an Abuja Magistrate's Court.He was alleged to be one of the sponsors of the radical Islamic sect, Boko Haram.Boko Haram spokesman, Ali Sada Umar Konduga, had on Monday, told the SSS that Ndume, who also served as a member of the Presidential Committee on Security Challenges in the North-East, headed by Ambassador Usman Gaji Galtimari, is among northern politicians sponsoring the terrorist group.
