Ojukwu's last moment

THE curtain finally fell for former Biafan leader and Ezeigbo Gburugburu (King of the Igbo worldwide), Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, yesterday morning. The Ikemba Nnewi died in the hands of his wife, Bianca, at the Hammers-Field Hospital, London, about 2.30a.m., London time (3.30a.m. Nigerian time) yesterday. He was 78.Sources within the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), the party the Odumegwu-Ojukwu led until his death, yesterday told our correspondent that the late Igbo leader died following complications he developed some hours after the Anambra State Governor, Mr. Peter Obi, had visited him.
