Boko Haram and the dangerous war song

What appears as ethnic cleansing in the North in the last few days by members of the Boko Haram sect is a reminiscence of the pogrom episode of the 1960s that led to the civil war.The sect upped the ante of fanning the embers of disintegration last week with the three-day ultimatum to Christians and Southerners in the North to leave the region in their own interests.The sect claimed that the reason for the ultimatum given to Christians and southerners was that soldiers could hide under the state of emergency imposed in some troubled areas in the North to kill Muslims and alleged information of imminent attacks on Northerners resident in the southern part of the country.
