THE purpose of the eyes is to see, in order to provide direction for the entire body. Therefore, the level you attain in life will depend on your vision.Matthew 6:22 states, 'The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.' Every living creature has eyes and the operation of the eyes vary from one creature to the other. While most creatures see clearly in daytime, some, like cats, bats and owls, are blessed with night vision. The horizon of the eyes of creatures also differs. The eagle has such powerful eyes that afford clear vision, even from great heights. Believers also have varying sight levels and horizons. Some are as blind as bats while others only have partial vision. Some are blessed with both day and night vision and can see clearly both in the daytime and at night. Others go even further and see with the eyes of faith; as a result, they see the invisible. This is the height God wants us all to get to; to see clearly in both day and night time and also to possess eyes of faith so that we can see the invisible.Have you given up on your situation' Have you given up on life' It is all based on the power of your sight. God told Abraham that he could only possess as much as he could see. What do you see' 2 Corinthians 1:20 states, 'For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.' The Word of God gives life to those who hold on to it. I do not allow the trials and tribulations that I face in my ministry to stop me, because even before I got to this level, I saw it. Even now, the circumstances that I face do not hinder me from moving forward, because I can see beyond this level. I have a goal that I am aiming towards. It does not mean that I do not have challenges and things that worry me. However, these things are not enough to stop me because I can see beyond them. I see beyond my present situation and circumstances; I see beyond my lack. I know that it will not be easy but with God on my side, all things are possible. Life is never easy; it is a battle. But it is a battle that a child of God can win at anytime.If you want to move forward, look beyond your problems and your present situation and see what God has in store for you in the future. I can see a time, sooner than we imagine or expect in our wildest dreams, when God will turn all our situations around for the better. I see a glorious future for us all, if we just continue in the faith and do not allow anything to alter our footsteps. It is not about how we start, but how we end. We shall all have a glorious end, in the name of Jesus.What is your present spiritual location' A lot of Christians are in the valley spiritually. If they can leave the valley and get to the mountaintop, it will affect their vision. That is why we should all strive to reach that spiritual height, where we will be able to see things through the eyes of the Almighty because that is the only way that we can attain the height God wants us to reach. We must climb to the mountaintop, if we want to see. We must not be Christians who operate in the valley. When you get to the mountaintop, your faith level will increase; your faith cannot increase except your spiritual life increases.2 Corinthians 4:18 states, 'For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.' What are you seeing' The more invisible things you see, the more eternally minded you become and the more prepared you are to live the life of the spirit. As long as you remain in the valley of prayerlessness and you are not fasting, you cannot see the invisible. You must relocate from your present position spiritually to the mountaintop; begin to seek God in prayer and worship and thanksgiving.
