Golden Eaglets declare Yaya persona non grata

THE technical crew of the Golden Eaglets has advised Nigerians to be wary of mischief makers bent on destroying the genuine efforts of the team towards qualification for the CAF 2013 Under-17 African Youth Championship. Suleiman Abubakar, the Golden Eaglets' Co-ordinator said there was no iota of truth about a spurious post on the social media alleging that one over-age Musa Yaya is in the team's camp in Calabar.The player in question featured in a link posted on Facebook via YouTube (Saltland Players For Trial-YouTube) but a quick check on the Musa Yaya left so much to be desired since he has no relationship whatsoever with the Golden Eaglets.Abubakar described the description as unfortunate and wicked, adding that the report should be disregarded by Nigerians since it is of no consequence to the team. 'That post on Facebook has nothing to do with our team and we wonder what the motive behind this was'" Suleiman asked rhetorically.
