MediaVision launches Club Thesaurus to reward fans

Published by Guardian on Thu, 06 Sep 2012

NIGERIA Industry Games organiser, MediaVision Limited, has announced a loyalty reward scheme known as called Club Thesaurus, for fans of the Corporate Nigeria Games (CNG) under its stable. The chief executive officer of the company, Fela Bank-Olemoh, unveiled the scheme at the opening ceremony of the Nigeria Bankers Games at the University of Lagos Sports Complex and disclosed that Club Thesaurus is a membership scheme where registered members would win gifts monthly.'Over the years, the games we organised have attracted followers who we want to bring to a platform that will provide closer networking opportunities and also get them to win some valuables as a reward for participation,' Bank-Olemoh said.Explaining the mechanics, the Head of Events Management, Maryann Emereonye, said: 'The scheme starts with the registration of members on the Thesaurus Facebook page, from where they will answer simple questions on any of the CNG. Correct entries will be pooled for a raffle to randomly select a winner every month.'According to her, members could also participate by looking out for the questions through MediaVision's newsletters and mailing services. Emereonye added that the scheme was open to all Nigerians who follow the CNG.'Both industry players, their non-playing colleagues, members of staff of MediaVision, partner companies and fans generally are eligible to be part of Club Thesaurus so far they are registered in the company's database, hence the need for registration,' she said.More so, winners would be rewarded with movie tickets, goodies baskets and gift vouchers, and there will be special Club Thesaurus promotions to mark the Easter, Sallah and Christmas celebrations as well as other national celebrations, she disclosed.Prizes on such occasions, according to her, would include home theatre sets, television sets and electronic and telecommunication gadgets. The first batch of winners will be announced at the end of October.
