Oloyan wants health centre rehabilitated

The Oloyan ofOyan, in OsunState, Oba Kilani Adekeye Oluleye, has appealed to the state government to rehabilitate the abandoned modern health center in the community.Speaking with Community News recently in his palace, Oba Oluleye said, the health centre had been abandoned for quite some months with the building has also serving as an avenue for hoodlums to hide.Oyan community which is known for Potatoes plantation lacked adequate health care delivery, thus prompting the residents of the community to go to another nearby community which is up to 10 kilometers away.The traditional ruler stated further, 'that all the equipment at the centre have been evacuated by the government while the entrance of the health center have been over grown with weeds.'The entire community is using this medium to seek for quick action through the Ministry of Health by our amiable governor, Mr Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, adding that 'there was the need for resuscitating the health center, so that we will not be experiencing untimely death of our people in the ancient community'.Also speaking with Community News on the same issue, another leader in the community, Sheik Abdul-Hameed-Omilonlo enjoined the government to urgently consider their request by bringing the abandoned health center to life in order to avoid spreading of epidemic diseases in the area.
