Union Bank to showcase services at Lagos fair

UNION Bank of Nigeria Plc has said it is deploying its bouquet of consumer and electronic products at this year's Lagos International Trade Fair.The bank said it would, in addition, continue its leadership role in the nation's agric financing, especially, the finance for small and medium enterprises through its numerous products .In furtherance of this, the bank has put up a seamless process of documentations that would lead to loan disbursement to farmers and importers.In a statement, the bank disclosed that it would also offer full range of business advisory services on imports, oil and gas, solid minerals as well as foreign exchange transactions.On its plans for visitors to the fair, the bank said it would also offer electronic business platforms or products including internet banking, corporate pay, union galaxy, union 'mobile, union online and point of sales (POS) services as well as collection platforms like pay direct, pay outlet, pay4me, union collect and auto reg.The bank said it would customers at the fair card based services like the, V pay, verve, ATM and visa dual currency card.Apart from electronic products, the bank also plans to display value creating consumer products such as Union 'ever; a savings/ current account based products, Union-life-time ,Union wealth, consumer credit finance , designed to meet various desires of high net-worth individuals, and enterprise owners.Coming on the heels of the banking reforms, Union Bank would also use the fair to further reassure its numerous and prospective customers of its strong fundamentals even as it takes steps to consolidate its recent recapitalization .The bank has successfully engaged the African Capital Alliance. Consortium, as core investor, the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) and the existing shareholders who have agreed to take up their rights as soon as the regulatory bodies give their final nod.Union Bank has been a consistent participant in the Lagos Fair since its inception 30 years ago.
