Shonghai packaging showcases products

SHONGHAI Packaging Industries Limited, an industry leader in Nigeria, has taken its range of products to the 25th Lagos International Trade Fair as part of an on-going programme to showcase their quality to both Nigerians and the international visitors.Speaking on the company's participation at the fair, Executive Director, Operations, Shonghai Packaging Industries, Mr. Geoffrey Anyaso said: 'The Lagos International Trade Fair provides us with a great opportunity to meet and interact with prospective customers. We have products that meet the packaging needs of Nigerian companies across most economic sectors from food and beverages to drugs and general packaging. We look forward to showcasing our technology, innovative designs and quality.'Anyaso disclosed that the company would be showcasing various beer and soft drinks crates, cosmetic jars, paint containers, and bottle printing technology. Other products that will be exhibited according to him are jerry-cans, oil lubricant bottles, pharma bottles and specialised coolers for marketing and promotions.Shoghai Packaging Industries Limited started operations in Nigeria in 1981 as a plastic crates manufacturer. The company has four manufacturing divisions, the Injection Molding Division, the Blow Moulding Division, the Label Printing Division and the Crate/Container Printing Division.Shonghai has set international standards for crate manufacturing in Nigeria. It currently meets the packaging needs of major breweries in Nigeria such as Nigerian Breweries Plc, Sona Systems, Sab Miler, International Breweries and Guinness Nig. Plc. 7-Up Bottling Company, Vita Malt, and Nasmalt are amongst its clients in the soft drinks sector while Oando and Mobil Oil are its major clients in the lubricants sector. Shongai received ISO 2000 certification in 2005 and has recently been upgraded to the 9001/2008 standard.
