NCRIB lauds Soyewo on national honour

The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers has lauded its past President, Dr. Feyisayo Soyewo, who has been conferred with the national award of the Member of the Federal Republic.In a letter of congratulation to Soyewo, who is the Chairman, Africa Insurance Brokers Association, the President, NCRIB, Mrs. Laidi Osijo, described him as a shining light, whose qualities and contribution to the industry had earned him the national honour.Osijo in a statement said, like the precious gold, you have continued to shine in every endeavour you found yourself. Your footprints remain indelible as a past president of our council as your contributions to the growth of the insurance broking profession has remained towering.Soyewo is a product of the University of Lagos, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School.He started his insurance career with the then Guardian Royal Exchange Assurance Company Limited as an underwriter. He later veered into insurance broking, with a pioneering stint at Prestige Insurance Brokers Limited.He is a recipient of several distinguished awards both locally and internationally. He recently authored the book, Insurance Broking in Nigeria.
