"This claim is entirely false" Will executors of late Iwuanyanwu will says report claiming he included a clause restricting his wife from remarrying is "false and misleading"

The will executors of the late industrialist, Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Iwuanyanwu have denied reports making the rounds that he included in his Will a clause that his young wife would lose her inheritance if she remarries. The claim was disputed in a statement released today and signed by the Executors of his Last Will and Testament.According to the statement, Iwuanyanwus Will was misrepresented in the viral report which "has no proofs or linked to actual facts".The statement reads: "On the Misrepresentation of the Will of Late, Chief Engr. Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Iwuanyanwu (CFR, OFR, MFR, KSC) by uninformed and deliberately mischievous persons."We have observed with understandable dismay, the circulation of false and misleading reports in the media, [both electronic and print] particularly those suggesting that, Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Iwuanyanwu (Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo), our revered departed statesman, included in his Will a restriction barring Chief (Mrs.) Frances Iwuanyanwu from remarrying among other unfounded narratives which has no proofs or linked to actual facts."We want to state, unequivocally and for the records that this claim is entirely false and targeted at bringing the name of our revered departed statesman to disrepute and degrade his generational legacies."Nowhere in the Last Will and Testament of the Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Iwuanyanwu (Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo), was Chief (Mrs.) Frances Iwuanyanwu, prohibited from remarrying."Such an assertion is not only factually incorrect but also deeply disrespectful tohis memory and the legacy of love, dignity, and truth which he lived and diedfor. He was a loving, caring, and honourable man."It is both painful and unfortunate that during this period of mourning, when thefamily of our revered, departed statesman should be allowed peace and privacy, some individuals have chosen to exploit their grief by peddling sensationalism and distortion for cheap publicity."Late Chief Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Iwuanyanwu (Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo), was a loving man who treated his family, especially Chief (Mrs.) Frances Iwuanyanwu with dignity and respect. He deserves better in life and in death."The executors added that the "baseless claim" is "not only an insult to the family, particularly Chief (Mrs.) Frances Iwuanyanwu, but a gross affront to the memory and dignity of our laterevered statesman, who is no longer here to speak for himself."Read the full statement below. The post "This claim is entirely false" Will executors of late Iwuanyanwu will says report claiming he included a clause restricting his wife from remarrying is "false and misleading" appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
