Despite public outcry against the game's graphic depictions of violence, the latest entry, "<a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/reviews/out'u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.gamestop.com%2Fvideo-games%2Fplaystation-5%2Fgames%2Fproducts%2Fmortal-kombat-11-ultimate-edition%2F11110038.html" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener sponsored">Mortal Kombat 11</a>," was <a href="https://www.businessinsider.com/best-selling-video-games-april-mortal-kombat-11-2019-5" target="_blank" rel="noopener">one of the bestselling games of 2019.</a> </p><p>Through the years, "Mortal Kombat" has been adapted into comic books, cartoons, and films for fans of all ages.</p><h2>How to watch 'Mortal Kombat' on HBO Max</h2><p>"Mortal Kombat" is the latest Warner Bros. film to launch on <a href="https://trk.hbomax.com/aff_c'offer_id=5&aff_id=1012" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener sponsored">HBO Max</a> the same day it's released in theaters. The film will be debut on April 23 and will remain available to stream until May 24 for all HBO Max subscribers.</p><p>HBO Max costs $15 a month and also includes thousands of other movies and shows.
