Anambra: From jungle to enterprise

Since the return of democracy to the country in 1999, Anambra State has occupied a notorious place as the jungle state. That was prior to the election of Governor Peter Obi as the governor of the state. Now, the story appears to be changing with the entry into the state of two big South African beer and wine companies, who are setting up factories in the state, TONY OKAFOR reports from AWKA.The largest producer of alcoholic wine in South Africa, African Distillers and Wine Company Limited, recently described Anambra State as one of theinvestment friendlyareas insub-Saharan Africa.
