Ejigbo LCDA buys UTME forms for 100 youths

The dream of 100 residents of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area who wished to write the 2012 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) but cannot afford the N4,900 to buy application form has been realized, with the distribution of free JAMB forms to them by the local government.The Supervisor for Education and Library Services in the LCDA, Mr Ayotunde Ojo, who spoke with journalists during presentation of the UTME forms to the beneficiaries at the council secretariat, stated that the administration of Mr Kehinde Bamigbetan believed education should not be the exclusive right of the rich.According to him, the beneficiaries will also be given free tutorial classes for a month, to prepare them better for the examination.The education supervisor appealed to the beneficiaries to avail themselves of the opportunity given by the council's chairman, Kehinde Bamigbetan, and ensure that they pass the examination in flying colours.
