Amosun woos investors with 80 per cent land rebates

GOVERNOR Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State yesterday admonished his Ogun State counterpart, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, against reversing the gains and policies of the preceding administration. He spoke in Abeokuta at the Ogun State Investors' Forum, where Amosun announced 'generous' land rebates, which far exceeded what he criticised under the immediate past administration of Otunba Gbenga Daniel. To encourage prospective investors, Amosun disclosed that effective from yesterday, his administration would grant 80 per cent discount on land purchased for agricultural purposes while 60 per cent rebates would be given on lands purchased for manufacturing purposes.
