Be good ambassadors of Ondo State, students advised

The Special Adviser to Osun State governor on Environment, Mr Bola Ilori, has advised students of Ondo State origin to represent the state dilligently anywhere they find themselves. The former commissioner and chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Lagos State, stated this when the National Association of Ondo State Students (NAOSS), Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, visited him at the Osun State Governor's office in Osogbo, recently.The students, who were led by the President, Caleb Igbasan and General Secretary, Israel Fagbemigun and accompanied by students of Oyo, Osun, Ekiti and Lagos states, praised Ogbeni Aregbesola for appointing an 'Ondo man' into his cabinet. They praised the efforts of Hon Ilori for what he has been doing in Osun, Ondo, OAU community to the people of Ondo State living in Osun State. The Secretary of the association recalled that not long ago, Ilori made some cash donations to indigent students while he facilitated the dredging of major streams and rivers in Osun State.Mr Ilori promised that as soon as a new government emerged in Ondo State, unprecented programmes awaited the state. He told them to give their studies everything as there was no excuse for failure. Ilori who gave the students a contract to design a welcome monument at the Osun State boundary at Asejire in Irewole Local Government, said the best design would attract a whopping sum of N250,000.Thanking the environmentalist for hosting them, Israel Fagbemigun, a '300 level student of Microbiolgy, assured him of the students'support for ''what you have been doing for us.
