Eid-el-Kabir: Taawuni national president congratulates Muslims

The national president of JamaatTaawuni Musli-meen Society of Nigeria, Alhaji Daood Molaasan, has congratulated Muslims in Nigeria and across the globe, on the recently celebrated Eid-el-Kabir festival.Alhaji Molaasan, who stated this while fielding questions from journalists at Iwo, also used the medium to pray for a successful completion of the Hajj operation for those who were currently in Mecca to perform this year's holy pilgrimage, praying for their safe return to their different countries.The Muslim cleric, however, called on the youth in the country to move closer to God, to obey the five pillars of Islam, and do away with anything that may damage their names and that of their family, so as to enable them have a bright future and contribute positively to the socio-economic development of the country.While speaking on the plan by the Federal Government to remove the oil subsidy, Alhaji Molaasan, warned the government not to go on with this plan, stressing that the evil effect of it would be more than its advantage, because it would bring untold hardship to the common man by the time the prices of all the commodities, including transport fare, rose up.He lauded the Osun State governor, Mr Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola for the people-oriented programmes, he had been embarking upon since his inception in office as the state governor, praying that God should continue to strengthen him as he is planning to turn Osun State to a ' small London'.
