Adebayo : Ex-Envoy, APC Chieftain Commiserate With Ekiti People, Nigerians

Former Nigerian high commissioner to Canada, Ambassador Dare Bejide and former member of the national assembly, Senator Gbenga Aluko have commiserated with the family of late General Adeyinka Adebayo (rtd), people of Ekiti state and Nigerians over the demise of former military governor of the old Western Region.Bejide, in his condolence message to the family, state and country, said: Baba was a liberal and amiable person who provided exemplary leadership for the entire political class in Ekiti state without discrimination.The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain said: Our revered Papa, General Adebayo, was an apostle of politics without bitterness. His embrace and love for all regardless of political affiliation and tribal differences were unparalleled.The death of General Adebayo, a fulfilled individual and fatherly figure, at a ripe age coupled with his achievements and legacies left behind are the reasons we should celebrate rather than mourn. May his soul rest in peace.Just as we feel and share the pains of the passage of this achiever with members of the Adebayo family, it is our prayer that God gives the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
